The International Cat Association

I was notified by Executive Officer, Leslie Bowers of TICA that Akerrs Bengal cats has the LONGEST record of participation in the Cattery of Excellence Program of any cattery or breed.  Now that says something! 

In 1994, The International Cat Association began the Voluntary Responsible Breeder Program. Every year we continue certification.  I thank TICA for the opportunity of participation.   It is indeed a beginning step to bring ethical behavior and to allow breeders a check for their catteries.  Thank you TICA and also thanks to Dr. Sheila Mansfield for her continued helpful critique and words of support.

I will do everything I can to remain up to date and progressive in my care and attention to my cats and to your needs.  

My cattery is open for visitors.  You will see every cat I have, you may handle them, play with them, and get a feel for the breed.  I feel it is important that you see all the cats and are able to see for yourself their care and appearance.

I work at being transparent... that is everything is in the open.  It is a philosophy of life for me... a way of living and relating in a different way.
